A new addition to our villa portfolio! The beautiful villa Hidden Jewel located in Tumbu, Karangasem, in the authentic and idyllic east of Bali less than a 10 minute drive from the beautiful white sandy beaches. The villa is actually a ‘jewel’: the villa has no less than 200 m2 of modern living space, a private swimming pool with views over the rice paddies, a sun terrace with sunbeds and umbrellas and is surrounded by a beautiful tropical garden.
The villa consists of 5 bedrooms air-conditioned, – three rooms with king-size beds and two connecting rooms with bunk beds for children. The rooms overlook the tropical garden and swimming pool. The villa also has 3 semi-outdoor bathrooms to experience the ultimate Bali feel that includes body wash and shampoo. This body wash and shampoo comes from Sensatia. Sensatia is a feel-good company founded in 2000 in the small, quiet fishing village of Jasri, Karangasem near the villa. Like us, they believe in growing together as a community.
To completely unburden you during the holidays, a private chef is at your disposal during your stay. If desired, they will cook 3 times a day. You have the choice of western dishes as well as typical Balinese and Indonesian dishes. In consultation with the hostess you can choose what you want and the groceries for the chosen dishes are settled at local prices. Our hostess has plenty of menu suggestions for you, but she also likes to share the addresses of good restaurants in the neighborhood.
We think it’s important to work with local products and ingredients. For example, the fresh vegetables, fruits and herbs of the season are purchased daily at the market in Amlapura. Pure, fresh and honest!
If desired, we arrange transport from the airport or previous location to the villa. You will be welcomed by our English-speaking certified private driver with comfortable air-conditioned car. If you have arrived at villa Hidden Jewel, you will meet the staff. They welcome you with a smile and a delicious snack and drink. A carefree holiday can begin!

Amazing place with amazing staff. Spent more than a month there and felt really taken care off. Any problem I had - and there weren't many - were taken care off immediately. It's clean, beautiful, has a fantastic view over rice fields and is away from roads. So no street noise. It's a bit on the countryside, with lotsa animals around and even the odd lovely stray cat will visit you in the evening. I was working during my stay and the Internet was excellent. Very fast, very reliable, even inside the room. Can wholeheartedly recommend to stay here

This place is a gem! We were welcomed by Sely who was wonderful and made some delicious meals for us. The villa is really nicely decorated, clean and comfortable! You feel at home.We loved the view from the pool and hangout on the sun loungers. If you would like to relax and explore the beautiful East Bali..this is the place to book.
